Robert W. Huths

Huth’s journey into the construction industry began after he graduated from Taft High School in 1992. His early years paved the way for a successful career dedicated to construction and home building. In 1996, he decided to take the entrepreneurial route by laying the foundation for his business—R.W. Construction, an interior trim carpenter company. He owned and operated the business for 19 years, managing all aspects of operations, including scheduling work, managing paperwork and supervising employees. The experience he gained helped him excel in his career and navigate the industry’s challenges.

He then expanded his knowledge by enrolling in Champions School of Real Estate, earning his professional inspector license in 2013. This achievement has established him as a seasoned and skilled professional in home inspections.

He then moved to Scotts BPG Inspections in 2014 as an inspector, where he worked for five years. There, Huth performed comprehensive assessments of homes, including evaluations of the foundation, roofing, HVAC systems and electrical work. He also worked on wood-destroying insect inspection reports. His deep understanding of construction allowed him to thoroughly inspect homes to ensure they met safety standards and were built to last. This experience helped him better understand home construction and enhanced his ability to assess quality.

Combining all the skills gained over the years, he brings an unmatched level of expertise, driving excellence in his current role at LGI Homes in San Antonio, Texas. Huth joined the company in 2017, and his leadership and expertise quickly earned him a promotion to senior construction manager in 2022. He currently oversees all aspects of construction to ensure each project meets the highest quality standards. He also manages the construction works of homes at Luckey Ranch in the Potranco West community.

Huth believes joining LGI Homes was the best decision of his career, pushing him beyond his comfort zone to achieve his business and personal goals. The company’s focus on its people, recognizing their hard work, loyalty and dedication, has strengthened his commitment to the company. He has earned numerous accolades, including multiple employee of the quarter awards and a nomination for construction manager of the year.

His experiences as a business owner, home inspector and construction manager have shaped him into a leader committed to excellence in every aspect of his work. Today, he continues to deliver exceptional service to the communities he serves, establishing himself as a leader in the construction industry.
