Installers and contractors frequently create sliding pocket doors by combining components from multiple manufacturers that may or may not be compatible.
Fremont, CA: Architects have traditionally specified sliding pocket doors to ensure that the aesthetics of their designs can be realized, but installers have been hesitant to use such products due to the complex and time-consuming installation requirements, as well as call-backs to the job site when products fail. The installer's impression of pocket doors is that they appear fantastic on paper but don't work in actuality.
