There is a growth in 2021 by 1.9 percent in the building sector of the Middle East and Africa after noting a decline in 2020 by 4.1 percent.
FREMONT, CA: According to Global Data, the growth of the building sector that was declined in 2020 by 4.5 percent in the Middle East and Africa has partly recovered with a growth rate of 1.9 percent in 2021 and is predicted to reach 4.1 percent in 2022. The impact of the spread of Coronavirus was so severe that economies all over the world are still struggling to recover from it. Among them, the construction sector in the Middle East was the most affected one. As per the recorded annual data, the experts anticipate growth of three to four percent in 2021, after observing a decline in the building sector at four percent in 2020. This growth was driven by the support of building and construction activities in the country from the execution of newly adopted building laws.
