In response to the challenges around competitive product pricing, demand for a fire-safe material application, and technology development for recycling in the construction space, SUNGIL has diversified its raw material procurement routes to secure competitive product prices and achieve production cost reduction via process automation. It also develops materials with excellent flame-retardant performance, low specific gravity, and high strength, providing superior mechanical properties compared to other materials.
SUNGIL’s products are well known for their high durability and insulation, making them a popular choice among clients. For instance, it delivers GRP sectional water tanks designed with capacity and space in mind and molded under high temperatures and pressure to maintain endurance. These are known for keeping stored water clean and safe while offering excellent water pressure and corrosion resistance.
In addition, SUNGIL uses stainless steel for the internal structure and plated steel and HDG for the external body to prevent corrosion. Its four-layer, 40 mm PU heat insulation structure ensures stable water quality, protects the stored water from dewdrops, and minimizes temperature variations. These GRP water tanks are composed of colored lines and can be assembled in the field in any shape or standard (capacity).
Along with quality, SUNGIL ensures continuous reduction in energy consumption and decreases environmental pollutants and waste while staying compliant with environmental laws and regulations. Its GRP doors offer excellent insulation, achieving a thermal transmittance rating of just 0.63 W/mk, making them highly energy-efficient and meeting the energy-saving requirements for homes and buildings. In addition, the GRP water tanks have obtained safety certification in 41 hazardous chemical inspections. Simultaneously, the bathroom ceiling panels have a low absorption rate and uniform surface that suppresses mold growth, receiving excellent ratings for eco-friendliness for over five years.
SUNGIL is also known for its system bathrooms that can flexibly respond to various bathroom standards and sizes of apartments, hotels, and offices. It delivers two types of system bathrooms—a prefabricated dry type and a wet and dry system that uses the wet type’s advantages in floor plate construction. These are supplied to Korean National Housing Corporation, Hyundai Development, and Hyundai Construction. Essentially, it ensures simplicity of construction and reduction in construction costs while innovating in bathroom construction.
SUNGIL’s products are based on the principle of total inspection via its established quality management system and multiple certifications like KS certification, ISO 9000, and ISO 14000. It also performs regular quality inspections by annually sampling its products through an external quality testing agency.
