Derrick Pursley, General ManagerAlong with leveraging the latest technologies, West Texas Boring’s longstanding success stems from its team of experienced employees who are subject matter experts in their respective fields and prioritize professionalism and integrity above all else. The combined experience of the team exceeds 500 years, which sets the company apart from competitors. West Texas Boring offers a comprehensive range of services, which include horizontal boring, dry (Auger) boring, furnish and wield casing, excavation, pipe ramming, and hydrovac evacuation. The scope of the company’s bore machining capabilities ranges from two to 48 inches in diameter and up to 3,000 feet in length. West Texas Boring also has a fleet of 20 drilling rigs that can handle loads from 30,000 pounds to 250,000 pounds. The diverse fleet includes American Augers, Vermeer, and Ditch Witch drilling machines.
With the decline in demand for oil and gas largely due to the pandemic in the last 12 months, West Texas Boring has transitioned into infrastructure, water, sewer, wind and solar, and fiber telecommunications projects. The company is diversifying its service portfolio in areas other than oil and gas to become a premier full-service drilling and underground infrastructure company.
West Texas Boring is focused on providing competitive pricing to customers and also ensuring the well-being of its employees.
